RETURNS & EXCHANGES POLICY
Hype Hair is not responsible for any loss or damage caused by late delivery or cancellation of an order or a product. Any claims or complaints must be made within 30 days of delivery date, all returned orders will incur a $15 shipping handling fee. All items must be returned in their unopened, original, undamaged packaging or an exchange/return will not be issued.
EXCHANGES
At Hype hair we understand that it can be hard to determine your perfect hair colour match from a screen, we will accommodate returns and exchanges within 30 days of date of purchase on all sets of hair extensions and products that have not been opened, worn, or tampered with.
Feel free to remove the hair extensions from their packaging and hold them up against your hair to check the shade, feel and length! - just be sure to keep the string seal intact around the top of the goods in case of an exchange or refund, due to health & hygiene reasons, if you remove or cut the seal you will be unable to return the item for exchange or refund.
If the warranty seal is intact, follow the below steps:
1. Please contact us first, send us an email to info@hypehairbeauty.com.au with the reason you would like to exchange or return your item. You need to upload a photo of the product to verify that the security seal is still in tact and that the item is still in the original bundle. (If the item is sent with the security seal removed or cut, we will send back the item to you) The rejected item will be posted back to you at your expense. Please do not send back your parcel until you have heard back from us.
2. Include a copy of your invoice, or a note with your full name, address, email address, phone number, and order number. This ensures we can locate your order and all details.
3. Safely package the unopened hair extensions so that they are not damaged.
4. Please make sure to send them back using a postage method that insures you for the full cost of the item. Hype hair will not be held responsible for lost or misdirected parcels.
5. Please include a self addressed post satchel for us to send your exchange to you, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend that you send your returned item with a tracking option.
6. Once your return item has been received your exchange item will be posted back to you the next business day. We'll notify you via email once your exchange has been completed.
REFUNDS
We are pleased to accommodate returns within 30 days of date of purchase on all sets of hair extensions and products that have not been opened, worn, or tampered with.
Human hair extensions are classified as a hygiene-sensitive item. As a result, we don't facilitate refunds for hair extensions that have been utilised or taken out of its original packaging, be sure to keep the string seal intact around the top of the goods, if you remove or cut the seal you will be unable to return the item for a refund.
As a responsible business, we believe it's important not to redistribute or resell hair that has already been applied.

Refunds for Australian Orders will incur a $15 restock fee to cover shipping costs.
Refunds for International Orders will incur a $40 restock fee to cover shipping costs.
For refunds, please allow 2-3 business days for the warehouse to process the refund. We'll notify you via email once your refund has been completed.
RETURN TO SENDER PACKAGES
Any package that is returned back to us via Return to Sender option will incur a $15 RTS fee plus a $15 restocking fee.
Why can't I return or exchange Hype Hair Extensions if they have been
opened?
All human hair extensions are considered a hygienic product, just like swimwear etc. Australian law prohibits the return of used human hair products, including trying them on. We strongly suggest you inspect your hair extensions before removing the bindings to make sure they are the correct colour, and the quality you expect. Once the bindings have been removed, they cannot be returned for refund or exchange (no exceptions). We are not the only company with this policy. All other hair extension companies will not exchange or refund opened product.
